Holidays spent in the family 911 ignited Catharina Allaert’s love for Porsche. It’s one that endures
The 911 Targa that’s part of the familyCatharina Allaert owes her passion for the Porsche 911 to her father, who passed it on to her in her early childhood. As a child, her and her brother were stuck in the back seat of the family Porsche, Mum & Dad in front and the luggage in the trunk and anywhere else that there was a bit of space left. Comfortable? No! Fun? Yes, even exciting!Today, when Catharina hears the sound of the Flat 6 of her Targa 3.2 L, happy memories come flooding back and she thinks nostalgically to her beautiful childhood. There is no doubt that in a few years, her daughter Paula will share in this nostalgia as Catharina passes on her own passion for the 911. Indeed, Paula's Birth Announcement already shows the white 911 Targa in which she made her first trip a month later. Now, the sunny days are here and the small family hits the road on the first opportunity they get. Belgium or France, the distance doesn’t matter, leaving the busy motorways and taking full advantage of the driving pleasure... just like her parents did with Catharina when she was Paula's age. In the Allaert family, they love beautiful brands that have a history. To such an extent that Catharina has created 'Les Sagas', an online retail site specialising in products and brands that have a heritage: "We do not sell Porsche, but we sell other brands that also have a history."Trends which have stood the test of time, their quality of design and fabrication making them timeless, just like the 911.
