Inspired by Grand Prix – Porsche colour, Grand Prix WhiteIf a sportscar could talk, how might it respond if you asked where it feels most at home? Most are driven on the road, but if you were to quiz a Porsche, perhaps it might say the racetrack. Going all the way back to the unveiling of the first ever Porsche in 1948, the 356, racing’s influence is a significant element of the company’s DNA. And the greatest challenges of all for any driver, amateur or professional, are the world’s elite racetracks – those unique pieces of real estate that have held Grand Prix, past and present. Here, speed, adrenaline and driving skills merge into a unique experience. There’s even a special Porsche Paint To Sample colour named after these tracks – Grand Prix White. We grabbed a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and 718 Cayman GT4 RS in Grand Prix White and headed off to find out more about how you can drive on the world’s greatest racetracks with the Porsche Track Experience.

To motorsport fans, racetracks are more than just a stretch of tarmac. The most famous are the stage for epic races and unforgettable battles. The Nürburgring, the Hockenheimring, Spa-Francorchamps, Circuit Paul Ricard, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão or Autodromo Nazionale in the Royal Park of Monza… all are Grand Prix racetracks, past or present, where legends of motorsport have helped embed history in every bend and every metre.

It creates a unique opportunity and setting to learn under the guidance of experienced professionals. It’s a place where you can explore the boundaries of your own abilities and to improve your driving skills little by little, whatever your level – or DISCOVER, LEARN, BOOST or RACE, as the four different progressive stages of the Porsche Track Experience are known. The unique challenges of the Grand Prix circuits on the Porsche Track Experience From legendary bends to supreme technical challenges, the selection of Grand Prix tracks that drivers can experience with the Porsche Track Experience is as diverse as it is challenging. The Parabolica at Monza – one of the fastest and best-known of all bends in the Formula 1 calendar – enables breathtaking speeds, while Spa-Francorchamps has the sort of challenging track layout, with its variations in elevation and world-famous corners, that have led to the Belgian circuit being talked of in hushed terms by the greats of motorsport. Meanwhile, the Circuit Paul Ricard in the south of France and the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal offer variety and supreme tests with their unique features, which is why they are consistent venues for the Porsche Track Experience. And then there’s the famous Nordschleife at the Nürburgring. It’s no longer a Grand Prix track these days, but remains a magnificent and memorable test for even the most experienced of drivers.
