In the hands of Porsche development driver Lars Kern, a pre-production Taycan Turbo GT set the record for the fastest lap by a four-door car of any powertrain on the Nordschleife at the Nürburgring by posting a time of 7:07.55 minutes.Kern later piloted a Taycan Turbo GT into the record books at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in the US, setting a time of 1:27.87 minutes, the fastest by a road-legal electric vehicle ever at the famous Californian track.With 1034PS of power available using Overboost Power with Launch Control, the all-electric Taycan Turbo GT can rocket from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.3 seconds (dropping to 2.2 seconds for the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package).
